Profile operates a much admired internship scheme of eight weeks duration, which is open only to graduates and young professionals. Interns, who are paid, get the chance to work across the various publishing functions, helping the Publicity, Sales, Marketing and Editorial teams in our busy office on Exmouth Market, Clerkenwell. Duties are many and varied: from evaluating manuscripts and writing press releases to directing telephone enquiries and helping at launch parties, as well as helping with administrative tasks. This is an ideal opportunity for motivated and hardworking candidates to get a real understanding of the publishing process as a whole and gain solid experience at a leading independent publisher.
